Located in Lacey, Washington. Has been in business for 3 years. While serving our community through food Maks Snack Shack also serves on the Thurston Chamber Board and Typ committee.

Maks Smack Shack is a full service bakery, providing cakes, baked goods and custom cakes/ catering for larger events.

Additionally Maks Snack Shacks owner hosts cake decorating classes and cooking classes at Hands On Children’s Museum in person and online.

2. Describe your role at Mak’s Snack Shack.

My role at the bakery is to bake, teach, create, inspire, and connect.

3. What is your favorite part about your job?

My favorite part of my job is the look of happiness people get when eating my food.

4. What is your favorite part about your job?

We offer a wide variety of baked goods, cakes, custom cakes and educational classes.

5. Who is your customer?

Our customer is usually mothers or women ages 18-35. Additionally we supply Cafe Elite with all 23 stands. I supply Nisqually markets Camas Coffee and their gas station next door.

6. What value does Mak’s Snack Shack provide to the community?

I believe I bring more than just added calories. I bring love and compassion to the table. My teaching is helping people feel confident and comfortable being in their kitchen and creating something. That’s a new definition of health.

7. What is something unique about Mak’s Snack Shack that you want to share?

I am a disability owned business.

8. What is the future of Mak’s Snack Shack?

I don’t like to speak to much in the future but keep an eye out for us at your local Ralphs and Bayview bakeries!
