Who Are We?

Thurston Young Professionals (TYP) is a great place to interact with new and established, younger business professionals in a low-pressure environment.

Our Mission

To provide opportunities for business networking, community involvement, and professional development to individuals in their 20s and 30s.

Monthly Networking Event

TYP meets on (typically) the first Thursday of the month from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at a different location throughout Thurston County. You’ll enjoy light appetizers to snack on and a no-host bar to sip on your drink of choice.

The more social-oriented event of the month, First Thursdays consist of ample time to meet and connect with other young professionals in the area as well as hear from our committee on important community happenings and upcoming events.

Other TYP Events

iTYP (Influence Thurston Young Professionals): Once a quarter we have the privilege of hearing from an established professional in the community. Hear their professional journey, through successes, failures, lessons learned and sage advice for the next generation. Location varies based on the speaker.

If you would like to attend events such as this with TYP, please visit our events calendar to see any upcoming TYP events.

The Minds Behind TYP

The TYP Committee is a team of highly dedicated, engaged individuals focused on growing a connected, thriving community of young professionals.
