The YWCA of Olympia is pleased to announce our first 2014 Open House which is a “Movie Night!”, sponsored by the Zonta Club of Olympia.
Join us on Thursday, March 27th at 5:30pm for an opportunity to learn about the YWCA, our programs, and the historic Kearney House (including a major parlor renovation supported in part by the Zonta Club of Olympia and the Zonta Club of South Puget Sound). Zonta Club of Olympia members will be on hand to share their work to improve the legal, political, economic, health and professional status of women at the global and local level through service and advocacy.
The movie screening at 6:30 will feature several short videos created entirely by Girls Without Limits! Camp participants. Topics include E-Waste, Women in the STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) fields, the 2014 Girls Summit, and Healthy Relationships. The talent of our campers will amaze you. Popcorn provided!
