July 15, 2014 – Washington Business Bank President and CEO, Jon M. Jones, is excited to announce that local bankers, Nick Benzschawel and Sam Bovard, have joined the Washington Business Bank team as Vice Presidents and Business Relationship Managers.

Nick Benzschawel
Mr. Benzschawel comes to Washington Business Bank with almost fifteen years of banking experience, most recently as a Vice with Anchor Bank. Mr. Benzschawel has served on the board of Rebuilding Together Thurston County.

Sam Bovard
Mr. Bovard is a graduate of WSU and the Graduate School of Banking at University of Colorado and has over two decades of banking experience, most recently as a Vice President at Key Bank. Mr. Bovard is very involved in the community currently serving on the board of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Thurston County and as a co-chair for the Club’s Foundation for the Future fundraising breakfast. Bovard also is a board member of Healthy Communities, the non-profit foundation arm of Physicians of Southwest Washington. From 2010 -2011 Bovard served as the Chair of the board of the Thurston County Chamber of Commerce.
