Veteran Business Workshop scheduled for Wednesday, September 20, 6 pm at Lacey Veterans Services HUB
The Thurston Economic Development Council and Lacey Veterans Services Hub have partnered to host a free Veteran Business Workshop on Wednesday, September 20, 6:00pm-8:00pm. The workshop is designed to provide information and insight on how to start and operate a Veteran owned business in Washington State and what resources, trainings and funding programs are available.
The workshop will feature Daryl Murrow, Business Growth Coach at the Thurston Economic Development Council, who is an Airforce Veteran and has started and run several businesses; Christine Buckley, Business coach at the Washington Center for Women in Businesses who has owned businesses in Washington, California and Spain; Keith Looker, Manager of the Lacey Veterans Services Hub and 32 year Army Veteran; and George Sharp, Veteran Microenterprise Program Outreach Coordinator at the Thurston Economic Development Council and former business owner.
