Local subagents are offering vehicle and vessel licensing services to Thurston County residents who are social distancing at home.
Vehicle and vessel licensing subagents in Thurston County are open to the public and are providing services remotely. Vehicle and vessel licensing services were declared an essential service by Gov. Jay Inslee last week.
“By using a small business that provides licensing services, you are boosting your community’s economy,” said Mary Hall, Thurston County Auditor. “When you use a subagent, a part of what you pay stays in your community as wages, rent and other benefits.”
Many licensing subagents are emphasizing online, mail and phone services to protect public and employee health. Those that have their doors open are obeying strict social distancing guidelines.
