United Way of Thurston County will celebrate its 10th Annual Straight from the Heart Dinner Party and Auction on Saturday, March 16, 2019, at Hotel RL Olympia.
United Way originally scheduled Straight from the Heart for February 9, but had to postpone due to the snowstorm that hit Thurston County that same weekend.
Guests will enjoy local beer from Fish Brewing Company and spirits from Heritage Brewing during cocktail hour as well as romance-inspiring appetizers – all set to live music and not-to-be-missed entertainment. Guests will have an opportunity to bid on silent and live auction items. All proceeds benefit the programs of United Way of Thurston County.
After dinner, if you’re in the mood, swing on over to a 1940s inspired after-party complete with “big band” sound and dancing to the tunes of Vendredi’s Bag! We’ll have some swing-dance professionals — Shimmy Shake Swingers — on site to make sure everyone is out there on the dance floor.
