This fall, take control of your business and gain more personal time with Business TuneUp, a program brought to you by the Thurston Economic Development Council Center for Business & Innovation. The TuneUp training program is designed for business owners who want to work smarter, not harder. TuneUp will help you build critical skills and introduces a set of tools for improving the way you organize, operate and manage your business, creating a solid platform for growth.
After taking this course, you will be able to operate your business with greater efficiency, identify key metrics for better decision making, improve your profitability, think more strategically, work fewer hours and take vacation without worrying about your business. TuneUp can give you the knowledge that only comes from being in business for years in just eight short weeks.
Over 50 established businesses have participated in TuneUp since its debut last fall. Surveys show that 100% of participants found the training to be of great value to their business and would recommend it to colleagues. TuneUp graduate Marty Marstrom, owner of Meridian Care Home, stated “The TuneUp training has given me the tools to create a more efficient business. Starting September 14, classes will be held once per week on Thursdays from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Center for Business & Innovation located inside the South Puget Sound Community College building in Lacey. Registration is $425 which includes the entire course and class materials.
If your business is located within the city limits of Olympia, the news gets even better! Due to special funding from the City of Olympia, businesses located within city limits may be eligible to attend this course at no cost.
