Thurston Investment Network Launches on February 15
Local investing opportunities available in Thurston County through brand new investing network
February 7, 2017 – The Thurston Economic Development Council Center for Business and Innovation (CB&I) announced today the launch of the Thurston Investment Network (ThINK), with an information night and training sessions to take place on February 15 and 16, 2017. Through ThINK, people with a desire to have a local component to their investment portfolio have an opportunity to connect with local business owners who are seeking capital.
ThINK is a membership-based network, committed to helping its Members connect with local businesses and engage in local lending and borrowing. Because ThINK is brand-new, the focus will be on individual direct lending, not on equity investment. Those interested in joining will need to attend a training, agree to network principles and lend within the specified parameters. They will have an opportunity to learn of businesses who are seeking capital, and given the opportunity to connect with them directly.
Individuals interested in becoming a member of the Network, or businesses looking for capital, will have opportunities to attend events next week to learn more about ThINK:
