Thurston County businesses are going green and will receive recognition for their efforts on Wednesday, April 9 2014 at the Thurston County Chamber Forum.
The Thurston Green Designation program recognizes businesses that practice environmental sustainability in the following areas: Waste reduction and recycling, energy efficiency, buying and selling green, water conservation, transportation and commute trip reduction or green products and services.
Now in its seventh year, the Thurston Green Business program has become one of the Chamber’s most popular programs, and for good reason — businesses that take steps to be green save money while protecting and preserving resources. Saving energy and water, while reducing waste, are good steps that benefit our environment. The savings that result from conservation boost the bottom-line.
Registration is now closed for this event.
