This adaptation by Ken Ludwig and his son Jack Ludwig will engage your family into this familiar but fantastical Christmas tale. Tiny Tim is determined to have his father home for Christmas day even if it means teaching Ebenezer Scrooge a lesson in Christmas cheer. Can this clever boy and his best friend Charlotte save Christmas and change the heart of the greediest man in town? Adapted from the classic Charles Dickens’ novel, this is a heartwarming tale of compassion and forgiveness.
Specially created for young audiences in mind, this production brings holiday enchantment for everyone with a pie man, a puppet seller, Christmas Carols and Tiny Tim all grown up! The ghost of Christmas past and future are staged with hand-held puppets beautifully crafted by Mark Asbel Gerth.
With just an hour of stage time, this will be a holiday treat for the whole family.
Olympia Family Theater’s production of Tiny Tim’s Christmas Carol opens November 30, 2018, and runs through December 23, 2018, and is recommended for all ages. Individual show tickets and subscriptions can be purchased at olyft.org or by calling the box office at 360.570.1638.
