Kathy Dowling Dorgan will join SPSCC Theatre Program Artistic Director Lauren Love as guest director for the production.
About Absurd Manifestations: Two Short Comedies
Absurdist theatre incorporates themes of existentialism, the muddling of truth and meaning, and the absurdity of the everyday ordinary. Chamber Music features a cast of eight historically famous women, including Amelia Earhart and Joan of Arc, interned in the same 1930s insane asylum. Tragedy: a Tragedy spotlights a news team that gradually fractures as they report on a night that appears to have no end.
