The South Puget Sound Community College Jazz Band will team up with the Pacific Lutheran University Jazz Big Band on May 9 for an evening of swinging sounds.
Both bands will perform individual sets on the Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the Arts Main Stage. The concert begins at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 9. Selections will include Big Band jazz standards from the 1930s through the 1960s.
Tickets are $10 for general admission, $8 for non-SPSCC students and seniors, and free to all SPSCC students, staff and faculty. Tickets are available online at OlyTix.org, in person at the Washington Center for the Performing Arts box office in downtown Olympia, or via phone at(360) 753-8586.
