It’s back! Sip & Shop, cohosted by Marchetti Wines, g.miller Olympia, and LOLA Lifestyle Boutique, presents its 2nd glamorous event, “Passport to Luxury,” in Downtown Olympia on June 5.
Your trip will begin at Marchetti on Washington Street, where you can indulge in their special homemade sangria and other in-house wines and light hors d’oeuvres, and receive your shopping passport—your ticket for the event. Next you will travel just down the alley to Lola Lifestyle Boutique and across the street to g.miller Olympia, both of whom will provide special event discounts for the guys, gals and even the littles!
Enjoy yummy hors d’oeuvres, live music, high-end shopping, a charity silent auction benefiting Boys & Girls Club of Thurston County and Purple Heart Animal Rescue, and more at every stop.
End the evening back at Marchetti for special antipasti plates, more wine, and a raffle drawing (for those with fully stamped passports) at 8:15. Although LOLA and g.miller will close at 8 pm, Marchetti will remain open until 9 pm. It’s a Friday night, so you can live and indulge a little!

The Sip & Shop Event Series was started by Marchetti Wines and LOLA Lifestyle Boutique in January of 2015, and the partnership has expanded to include g.millerolympia, the premiere men’s clothier in the city. “We knew we wanted to expand to include other businesses.
G.miller was the perfect fit. Their clientele is similar, they offer highend men’s clothing, and I really enjoy working with Greg and Sandra! So Cheri and I approached them back in April about joining us, and we were thrilled that they were all in!” says Lauren Rodriguez, PR/Events Manager for LOLA. The partners look forward to working together on future events.
Sip & Shop events are free to attend, they take place quarterly and always include gourmet food, wine, shopping discounts for participants, and either a charity raffle or silent auction—in the case of Passport to Luxury, our second event in the series, we will do both! And the charities selected are based on the individual philanthropic interested of partners, at the top of which are the welfare of children and animals in our community. “It’s our pleasure and honor to be able to give back through these events!” Says Cheri Cassidy, Marchetti Wines owner. Through these events, the partners want to attract individuals who are invested in downtown and supporting local businesses, who are accustomed to shopping high-end retail, and who enjoy indulging in good wines and food.
These events are both for our existing clients as well as those who haven’t yet experienced the wonderful and unique shopping environments at LOLA and g.miller or the delicious housemade wines offered by Marchetti!
