Beginning this month, residents of Thurston and Pierce County who have health plans from Sound Path, Humana, and Health Alliance can use their benefits at Roo Lan at in-network rates.
Roo Lan was first approached by PSW about becoming a preferred provider at the beginning of 2016. Roo Lan’s strong community roots and consistently high Medicare Star Rating aligned well with PSW’s goal of partnering with skilled nursing facilities focused on quality, value, and great patient care. The timing is fortuitous as Roo Lan recently opened a new short-term rehabilitation wing dedicated to caring for patients in needs of intense care and therapies prior to returning home.
