Vest Thurston, LLC will hold a public information session on its proposed 75-bed South Sound Behavioral Hospital from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on May 3, 2016 in Banquet Room A of the Lacey Community Center, 6729 Pacific Ave SE, Olympia, WA 98503. Interested members of the public are invited to attend this information session.
After reviewing a number of alternative sites, Vest Thurston, LLC, is considering the following two locations in the City of Lacey for the proposed South Sound Behavioral Hospital:
a. Conversion of an existing building at 605 Woodland Square Loop SE, Lacey, WA
b. Development of a new facility in the proposed Hill-Betti Business Park, on a portion of property located at 2800 NE Marvin Road, Lacey, WA 98506.
The proposed hospital would have a service area of Thurston, Lewis, Mason, and Grays Harbor counties. Development is expected to be complete in 2018. Once complete, the hospital, will provide inpatient behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults and senior adults.
