The Firm Will Operate as Goldstein Law Office PLLC and Provide Expanded Services in Thurston and Pierce Counties
Principal Jay A. Goldstein, founder and managing principal of Olympia-based Goldstein Law Office PLLC, has announced the merger of his firm with Puyallup firm Athena Legal Advocates. Athena Law Advocates, under principal Teena Williams, has served the Pierce County area for four years. The new firm will operate as Goldstein Law Office PLLC, and lawyers will provide a broad range of legal services, including real estate, land use, environmental and natural resources, business and corporate law, estate planning and probate, and construction law.
Jay A. Goldstein, a well-known real estate and land use lawyer practicing in the Thurston County area for more than 25 years, has built the Goldstein Law Office into a highly regarded real estate and land use firm. The firm also provides significant experience in the complex escrow arena — the only law firm that provides these types services in Thurston County. Additionally, the firm offers litigation and transactional counsel on construction, title issues, complex business transactions, joint ventures, and real estate development.
Williams, who is also a licensed real estate broker, has 20 years of legal experience, including with Seattle firm Ogden Murphy Wallace PLLC and Anchorage firm Hughes Thorness Powell Huddleston & Bauman LLC. She brings a variety of complementary legal expertise to the Goldstein firm, including contaminated property representation, real estate financing and foreclosure defense, and escrow services. In addition to her J.D. and active broker’s license, Williams also holds a Master of Study in Environmental Law (MSEL).
Said Goldstein, “This is a great fit for us, and I’m looking forward to the significant depth and capacity Teena brings to the team.”
Added Williams, “I’m excited to bring my environmental, natural resources and real estate transaction background to the firm and work with this impressive group of lawyers.”
In addition to expanding the level of services it now provides, Goldstein Law Office PLLC will also now operate in offices located in both Thurston and Pierce counties:
