Olympia Federal Savings is pleased to announce that Mike Bowen has joined the organization as its new Senior Technology Officer.
Bowen’s principal responsibilities will be to oversee all information technology (IT) initiatives and activities, including all technology systems, core processor management, vendor relationships and other related initiatives. He will work closely with the organization’s executive and senior management team to determine and implement long-range technology goals, strategies, plans, and policies.
Bowen has been in technology related positions for his entire career, most of which was spent with CalPortland, a major diversified building materials, and construction solutions provider based in Glendora, CA. Bowen worked at CalPortland for 13 years, and most recently served as Director of Business Process and Architecture.
Bowen grew up in the Puyallup area, and recently relocated back to the Pacific Northwest from California. He is a graduate of the University of Washington and is a lifelong Seattle sports fan.
In his spare time, Bowen enjoys a multitude of activities including cycling, hiking, golfing, and most of all, spending time with his two daughters.
