Olympia Federal Savings (OlyFed) is pleased to welcome Joel Slovick to its Business Banking Team. Slovick joins OlyFed with over a decade of banking experience working mainly with established small businesses.
“Small business is the glue that keeps the community together,” Slovick said. “Small business is where it all starts. It’s good people, making a good living, doing what they love and I am excited to be a part of the OlyFed team helping entrepreneurs in our region.”
Slovick has a proven record of accomplishment providing sound advice to small businesses on how to prepare their finances to build up production, expand to new markets, and add a new facility or transition ownership in a seamless way to minimize disruptions.
“I can do everything from a small $5,000 equipment loan or line of credit, up to millions of dollars in real estate lending, and everything in between,” Slovick explains. “I really enjoy getting to know a business, learning from them, and especially seeing them grow and thrive,” he says.
“Joel is a great addition to our team because he really wants to be part of this community,” Carrie Whistler, VP of Business Banking said. “He is passionate about helping business owners find solutions.”
The choice to work for OlyFed was an easy one for Slovick. “OlyFed’s commitment to the community is second to none,” he says. “OlyFed puts customers and employees first and it’s great to be a part of an institution like that.”
Slovick isn’t all work and no play. He recently relocated from Santa Rosa, California with his wife and two year-old son and they love outdoor activities like hiking, camping and fishing.
