Nicole Potebnya has joined the Phillips Burgess law firm as a partner, adding her talents to those of the firm’s six other attorneys already serving clients in the Pacific Northwest. Nicole has nearly a decade of experience resolving contractual issues, structuring commercial leases and sales contracts, and advising in land use and permitting matters.
Phillips Burgess founders and attorneys, Richard “Mick” Phillips and Heather Burgess, are delighted Nicole has chosen their firm and the feeling is mutual. Nicole shares, “The firm’s fundamental tenet aligned seamlessly with my own, which made for an ideal fit. Meaningful service to our clients is a shared priority.” She added, “Phillips Burgess embraces the significance of developing a holistic client relationship, which includes the nature of a client’s current needs and projecting options for the future. Our clients are not a snapshot. Taking the time to understand the big picture at the outset allows us to provide unsurpassed service.”
Nicole spent over seven years as in-house counsel and managing real estate broker for The Rants Group, a Thurston County commercial real estate and development firm. There she managed a robust real estate portfolio, and advised employees and owners on business, commercial and residential real estate matters. Nicole is also experienced in administrative hearings and appeals before the Washington courts, having served as an Assistant Attorney General with the Washington State Attorney General’s Office.
Phillips Burgess, with offices in Olympia and Tacoma, has more than doubled in size since its founding in 2012. The firm includes a highly skilled, passionate team of experienced lawyers, many of whom who been recognized for excellence in the areas of Real Estate, Land Use, Environmental, Natural Resources Law, and Business law.
