Leadership Thurston County (LTC) and the Thurston County Chamber Foundation are pleased to announce LTC Board of Regents officers for the 2014-15 fiscal year. Renée Sunde, Deputy Director of the Thurston Economic Development Council, is the new Board Chair; Rick Hughes, General Counsel of the LOTT Clean Water Alliance, is the Chair Elect; and John Doan, City Administrator for the City of Tumwater, is Past Chair.
The Board also welcomed the following new members, who will serve three-year terms: Tom Carroll, President and CEO of Tiburon Systems LLC; Ann Freeman-Manzanares, General Manager of Intercity Transit; Kim Peterson, VP Finance/Chief Financial Officer of TwinStar Credit Union; and Jon Tunheim, Thurston County Prosecuting Attorney.
Other board members include: Joe Ingoglia, Executive Director, Boys & Girls Clubs of Thurston County; Cecelia Loveless, Executive Director, College Advancement & Foundation, South Puget Sound Community College; Wes Martin, Designated Broker, Sound Business Brokers; Dillon Mullenix, Managing Partner, Cambridge Wealth Management, LLC; Stephanie Pickernell, Associate Development Advisor, Lucky Eagle Casino; Kari L. Qvigstad, President and CEO, Qvigstad & Associates; David Schaffert, President and CEO, Thurston County Chamber; and Aaron Steele, Owner, Steele Capital Management.
Leadership Thurston County is an experience-based program that develops informed, connected and committed civic leaders. Since 1994, over 500 graduates from businesses, public agencies and non-profit organizations have completed the course.
