South Sound area columnist Dorothy Wilhelm is one of the most frequently requested return speakers in our Schmidt House History Talks series.
For the past 27 years, she has written a humor column for the Tacoma News Tribune, the Olympian, and other publications. She and Olympia Tumwater Foundation’s Public History Manager Don Trosper will interview each other about history legends and recount entertaining stories to the audience.
In addition to her career as a columnist, Dorothy spent ten years as Creative Living Expert and on-air talent for KIRO radio and TV in Seattle. She also created, hosted and produced the award-winning “My Home Town” video features.
