From the time Jessie Nearing began her practice in 2005, she dreamed of opening a full-service health and wellness center. With support from friends, family, and loyal enthusiastic clients, the dream became a reality. On July 11, Nearing celebrated the opening of Nearing Total Health with a ribbon cutting attended by Lacey Mayor Andy Ryder.
Jessie began practicing massage therapy 10 years ago in Olympia, WA. She graduated from Body Mechanics in 2005 and worked in a couple of different chiropractic offices learning the best techniques by working with many different clients and their specific needs. Injury treatment as a result of injuries from accidents is truly her love and what she feels is her real strength. Jessie herself had an injury that she feels helped her to fully understand the client’s needs using treatment she personally experienced and benefited from.
Jessie works with clients ranging in age from seven to eighty years old and finds that regardless of age we all benefit from massage therapy. Jessie has many different modalities of massage that she practices including injury treatment, Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, deep tissue, manual therapy, relaxation, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, intra-oral massage (in the mouth technique for the treatment of TMJ dysfunction and clenching), and stretching techniques.
In 2013, Jessie graduated from a program as a Certified Practitioner of Nutrition. She believes that she can now help her clients both physically and internally making a complete impact on her clients to heal and improve their entire body.
Jessie is honest, loyal, trustworthy, compassionate and hardworking, and is committed to providing the finest therapy for those in her care.
She accepts most major insurance companies including Regence, works with Labor & Industry claims, and Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims related to auto accidents.
