Cooper Point Public House is a family-run northwest style pub. Sam and Melissa Rasmussen worked at Ramblin’ Jacks for over a decade before leaving to raise a family and open their own business. Along with Sam’s mom Cathy Kathrein, they opened Cooper Point Public House in January with a focus on being a quality neighborhood dining spot for the whole family. Cooper Point offers a full bar featuring microbrews and distilleries. 
The Thurston County Chamber of Commerce celebrated the opening of the restaurant with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, May 22 at 4:00 PM. Olympia Mayor Pro Tem Nathaniel Jones assisted with the ribbon cutting.
