The Community Foundation of South Puget Sound is hosting its Spring Luncheon on Tuesday, April 24 at Hotel RL (formerly Red Lion Hotel).
The lunch will explore the topic of building community philanthropy and inspiring giving in our communities. David Bley, Director of the Pacific Northwest team at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is the keynote speaker for the event. David will speak about the Gates Foundation’s support of community philanthropy across the Pacific Northwest.
The luncheon will also highlight other Community Foundation news and updates, including stories from donors who are giving back, an update about the first class of the Mason County Rural Community Leadership program, the Foundation’s plans for year two of crowdfunding initiative Give Local, and kick off of the 2018 Community Grants cycle.
This event is designed for donors, community leaders, professional advisors, board and staff of nonprofit organizations, community members, and anyone interested in the topic of community philanthropy. This community event is not a fundraiser.
