Committees are at the heart of what makes the Chamber thrive.
The Chamber offers many opportunities for you to become involved. Whatever your interests or background, the Chamber is sure to have something that suits your needs. You will meet other business people, get exposure and have a lot of fun! To request information regarding a specific committee, please e-mail the corresponding liaison.
Committees recommend policies to the Board of Directors. Most committees meet monthly.

Issue Committees
EDUCATION – Meets the second Friday of each month from 7:30 to 8:30am at the Chamber office. Renews and helps develop positions impacting education in Thurston County and assists with programs helping students prepare for the workplace. Request Agendas
BUSINESS & ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT – Meets the third Friday of each month from 7:30 to 8:30am at Prime Locations in Lacey. Assists in generating a healthy business climate for economic, business and industrial growth in Olympia and Thurston County. Request Agendas
Ambassadors
Dedicated to promote a professional atmosphere, encourage participation, and attend community activities and events as representatives of the Chamber.

FOOFARAW – Plan the annual military appreciation day in conjunction with the Olympia Yacht Club.
BUSINESS SHOWCASE – A marketplace designed to promote business to business activities.
A NIGHT ON THE TOWN – Annual fundraising event to assist the education programs of the Chamber Foundation.
FIND YOUR FUTURE – A career and post high-school information fair for students and their parents.
