Harlequin Productions’ annual fundraiser and season announcement party, ECLECTICA!, is coming up on Saturday, April 1 at the State Theater in downtown Olympia. The event will take place from 5:00-8:00 PM and starts with a catered dinner from Pellegrino’s and no-host bar. Then, Harlequin presents games and a live auction before the announcement of their Season 2017 lineup of shows.
Guests will hear from the directors and artistic directors about each of the seven shows that have been chosen for the season. Then they’ll enjoy some of their favorite actors reading and/or singing cuts from each of the shows.
“This event is always an exciting and inspiring event,” said Managing Artistic Director Scot Whitney. “Being there to witness the first breath of life of these theatrical projects is compelling and fascinating. Besides, when was the last time that old piece of advice ‘Eat, drink and be merry!’ disappointed?”
