Harlequin Productions is proud to announce that registration is open for the Fall Education Classes. Harlequin is committed to strengthening the foundation of artistic education by creating artistic opportunities for the community as well as the next generation of actors interested in pursuing a career in theatre.
This coming October, three programs will be offered to youth and adults in the South Sound. The classes are appropriate for students of all abilities and experience levels. Instructors include local teaching artists and performers Amy Shephard, Mark Alford, and Brian Tyrrell.
“Receiving an education in the arts can have a direct impact on a student’s quality of life. Creativity, confidence, and teamwork are just some of the lessons of learning in a theater setting. Some of my most rewarding experiences as a performing artist have come while teaching – I can’t wait to get started!” says Alford, who will be teaching Improv Comedy for 6th-8th Graders.
