Olympia— June 28th, 2014— GRAND RE-OPENING, Artesian Place recently changed its name from West Woods to align more closely with its mission: to provide a stimulating environment, not just a building, where senior residents can thrive.
Artesian Place will host an afternoon with a complimentary blood pressure clinic, tours, games, music and refreshments for the whole family. Several community partners, including Personal Best Services, home care and living solutions and musician Scott Cossu, will join in the celebration and be on hand to discuss and demonstrate their services.
“Our community extends beyond the walls of Artesian Place,” said Kiley Turner Executive Director. “For years, we’ve been honored to enrich the health and wellbeing of our Olympia-area senior residents with supportive, vibrant environments and compassionate care. With this celebration, we acknowledge with gratitude the pivotal role that our families, friends and neighbors play in our opportunity to connect our residents with their best selves.”
Many of the nearly 200 Enlivant residences across the country will recognize their local communities this summer with similar reopening events. With scheduled transportation and regular community programming, Artesian Place encourages its residents to engage with the greater Olympia area activities and cultural events all year round.
“Our core values at Artesian Place are compassion, excellence, humility, fun and integrity,” said Kiley Turner “We look forward to involving our fellow Olympia neighbors in living out our values and our mission to provide our treasured senior residents with the means for their minds, bodies and spirits to flourish.”
Join the Artesian Place to celebrate the community’s grand reopening on June 28th, 2014 from 1 to 5p.m. The celebration is open to the public and free of charge. Personal Best Services will have a free blood pressure clinic and there will be some local artists showcasing their work.
The community has spoken and we have listened. Artesian place will be offering the community a nice hot dinner once a month for an entrance fee of $4.00. In addition to the meal Artesian Place will host a musician or another fun activity. Check the senior news in the Olympian for updates!
