Featuring BIPOC businesses from Seattle to Chehalis, ssBIPOC’s growing membership has a wide variety of businesses from all over the south sound to choose from. Give the directory a look!

Our work with ssBIPOC

Networking

The Chamber hosts in-person and virtual networking and community visibility events. All events are free or low-cost. The virtual BIPOC Business Roundtable is on the last Tuesday of every month from 11 am-12 pm. This roundtable allows BIPOC businesses, regardless of Chamber membership or ssBIPOC membership, to convene and discuss wants and needs.

If you are a BIPOC business that would like to join the BIPOC Business Roundtable, email Marquita at mhimes@thurstonchamber.com.

If you would like to present information relevant to small business owners at a BIPOC Business Roundtable, email Marquita mhimes@thurstonchamber.com.

To learn more about our in-person networking events, follow ssBIPOC on Facebook or check out the Chamber Events Calendar.

Education

The Chamber facilitates presentations at the BIPOC Business Roundtables that are useful to attendees as business owners. We also distribute information on training, grants, etc to ssBIPOC members.

Marketing

The Chamber is creating a BIPOC Business Directory that includes Thurston County BIPOC owned businesses along with ssBIPOC members! If you are a Thurston County BIPOC owned business that would like to be included in the directory, contact Marquita at mhimes@thurstonchamber.com.

The Chamber has Business Incubator space reserved for BIPOC Businesses. If you need office space, apply and learn more here on our Incubator page.

We believe that our mission of growing a prosperous economy and vibrant community by connecting people, ideas and resources means creating equitable infrastructure for the BIPOC community. Our partnership with South Sound BIPOC is an extension of our mission and we are proud to work with them. If you would like to learn more about ssBIPOC, email Marquita at mhimes@thurstonchamber.com
