You may have received a delivery from or seen our newest truck – the big purple one! We decided to paint it purple to highlight our commitment to ending Alzheimer’s disease.
Alzheimer’s research has become important to the owners of Acme Fuel, Tom and Christophe Allen. Tom’s wife/Christophe’s mom, Jeannine, passed away in October 2016 at the age of 74 after a long battle with Early Onset Alzheimer’s. Jeannine was a beautiful, loving, vibrant wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all.
We thought it would be a great tribute to her to do what we can to end this horrible disease. For every gallon of propane this truck delivers, we will donate 1 penny to Alzheimer’s research. We estimate the annual donation to be around $4000 per year.
We will have a booth at the June Forum luncheon. You are welcome to stop by and learn more about our big purple truck and how to help end Alzheimer’s. We have a Chamber Member group special for our Fast Fuel gas stations. Packets for that special offer will be available at the booth. We look forward to seeing you there.
