The new food hall will feature a variety of independent food and beverage producers from around the Pacific Northwest
Coming in early November 2016, 222 Market will be a vibrant gathering place for the artisan food crowd in Olympia, Washington. In a historical building that was originally the home of Olympia’s Packard Car Dealership, the building is being transformed into an open marketplace/ food hall where residents and visitors can gather to enjoy the bounty and drinks of our local food communities in a warm and inviting atmosphere.
An artisan style food market, described as a “European Market meets Hip Olympia Funk”, the 222 Market will anchor the downtown food scene by bringing local food and artisan businesses together to compliment the renowned Bread Peddler, multiple winner of Washington’s Best French Bakery. The Bread Peddler will be joined by two additional exciting concepts, Peddler Creperie & General Store and Peddler Bistro. Other exciting participants in this artisan market are:
Pantry – with a collection of local, sustainable, farm products, locally crafted cheeses, grass-fed and pastured, sustainable meats, and hand-crafted foods from our community. Also, Pantry
will have a community cooking school.
Chelsea Farms Oyster Bar – A long time shellfish farm in the Olympia area, will be opening their very first oyster bar, serving an amazing variety of locally produced shellfish and seafood.
Salt, Fire & Time Broth Bar – Broth Bar by Salt, Fire and Time opened in Portland, Oregon as the country’s first dedicated bone broth café. Salt, Fire & Time has been making bone broth since
2009 with the highest nutrition in mind, preparing it in small batches for 72 hours from bones sourced directly from farmers in the Pacific Northwest who raise their animals on pasture and let them graze and forage as nature intended. Broth Bar Olympia also serves OlyKraut’s raw fermented vegetables, made using traditional preservation techniques and locally sourced, pristine ingredients.
Blind Pig Spirits – A craft distillery featuring a tasting room, production and bottling facility, as well as retail sales of their alcohol products and branded merchandise. They offer top-shelf “small batch” spirits, all distilled in-house, using Washington grown malted barley. Also, they offer classes on whiskey making. Blind Pig Spirits currently has their tasting room / retail storefront open to the public on Friday’s & Saturday’s from 11am-6pm and Sunday’s from Noon-5pm. They will be expanding their days and hours of operation with the opening of the 222 Market in November.

Bread Peddler – An award winning artisan bakeshop as well as a café serving lunch and breakfast. All products are made from scratch and are cooked with the utmost attention to
ingredients and technique, and our goal is to provide you with the best tasting foods. The Bread Peddler has been established in this location for over twelve years.
Peddler Bistro – Peddler Bistro is a fine dining establishment owned by Andre LeRest’s, owner and founder of the Bread Peddler, along with his partner, Frances Wolff. In an upscale and
warm environment tastefully created by Wolff, they have created a unique dining experience specializing in French style cuisine, accompanied by a selection of fine French wines. Currently,
Peddler Bistro is open Wednesday thru Sunday 5-9pm for dinner and also for brunch on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They will be opening full-time for dinner with the rest of the 222 Market in November.
Peddler Creperie – Finally, an authentic French Creperie in downtown Olympia! Serving both sweet and savory crepes, along with espresso drinks and assorted, handcrafted deli items. All
crepes can be made with flour or gluten-free buckwheat options. In an eclectic atmosphere, Andre LeRest and Frances Wolff have combined crepes and a General Store, specializing in
French vintage items. The Peddler Creperie & General Store is now open.

Grand Opening: November 19th, with all day live music, prizes, food samples, and ribboncutting ceremony held at 1pm.
