Multispecialty clinic to include primary, immediate care
DEC. 5, 2016 (LACEY) — Providence Medical Group (PMG) and Pacific Medical Centers (PacMed) providers began seeing patients at 4800 College St. SE today.
Through a partnership between PMG and PacMed, the Lacey clinic includes the PMG–Lacey Multiservices Clinic and the PacMed Lacey Clinic and is located on more than 30,000 square feet of renovated space. The clinic is the 11th primary care facility for PMG in Southwest Washington, and the 11th facility for PacMed in the Puget Sound region. Providence Outpatient Chemical Dependency services will remain in its current location and entrance.
The clinics include:
- Immediate Care (open 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Monday-Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weekends)
- Primary Care (including pediatrics and OB/GYN services)
- Diagnostic Imaging
- Diabetes and Nutrition Services
- Physical Therapy
- Palliative Care
“We are blessed to partner with PacMed and expand our primary care base as we continue to serve and help build healthier communities, together,” said Providence Southwest Washington Chief Executive Medrice Coluccio.
The new clinic also provides greater access to health care for the 9,500 active-duty and retired military families living in Thurston County through the US Family Health Plan (USFHP). As the only provider of USFHP on the West Coast, PacMed provides the region’s active-duty family members and retired military personnel with a civilian option to health care at no added cost, improving both access to health care and the overall quality experience.
“We are excited to join Providence to increase access to exceptional care in the Lacey community,” said PacMed CEO Linda Marzano. “Through our proven model of care, we create excellent outcomes for patients that support them in living their best and healthiest lives. This is something both our organizations value and see as our duty to the communities we serve.”

We find this leads to a better experience for our patients.”
“Providence Medical Group has developed a network of patient-centered medical homes capable of meeting the needs of the communities we serve with high functioning primary care,” said PMG Chief Executive for Southwest Washington Dr. Rik Emaus. “With the addition of South Lacey, PMG Southwest primary care teams will provide care for more than 100,000 patients on a continual basis. We meet this responsibility by building great teams and supporting them in their efforts to transform care in our community while providing each patient with compassionate, patient-centered care.”
