Intercity Transit will conduct a public hearing Wednesday, May 23, 2018, 5:30 p.m. at the administrative office, 526 Pattison St. SE in Olympia. The hearing is to receive public comment on proposed Intercity Transit bus route and schedule changes for possible implementation on September 23, 2018.
On March 7, 2018 the Intercity Transit Authority reviewed options for improving local bus service in the near term without additional funding. The proposed service changes are based on ridership data and input for transit improvements from passengers and the community.
Community open houses to learn about the proposed changes are scheduled as follows:
- May 30, 4:30 – 6 p.m.
Lacey Timberland Regional Library, 500 College St. SE
- June 4, 4:30 – 6 p.m.
Tumwater Timberland Regional Library, 7023 New Market St.
If you can’t make it to an open house, join us for a live webinar on May 31 from 3 – 4 p.m. Registration details will be available at intercitytransit.com/servicechanges.
You can also mail comments to Intercity Transit Planning Manager, P.O. Box 659 Olympia, WA 98507-0659, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 360-705-5852. Comments must be received by 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2018 to be considered.
