
Congrats to those receiving top honors in the Thurston Green Business Recognition program. Shown are representatives from: Coffee News - Small Business Category, Global Green Energy Corporation - Medium Business Category and Great Wolf Lodge - Large Business Category.
On Wednesday, April 14 the 2010 Thurston Green Business designations were presented as part of the Thurston County Chamber of Commerce Forum Luncheon.
Special annual awards were also presented to businesses that display outstanding efforts in their green business practices. Awards will be based on efforts made prior to March 5, 2010.
Special awards will be made in three categories:
- Small Business (1-5 employees)
- Medium Business (6-50 employees)
- Large Business ( 51+ employees)

Businesses and other organizations located in Thurston County may apply for recognition as a Thurston Green Business. Businesses and other organizations that are Thurston County Chamber members located outside of Thurston County are eligible for Green Business designation, but not special recognition awards.
Thurston County businesses will recieve designations as a “Thurston Green Business” during the 2010 recognition event. In addition, winners in the categories of Small, Medium and Large Business will be highlighted for their exemplary efforts in creating a sustainable workplace.
